Tandem Diabetes Care Announces Plans for New Corporate Headquarters
SAN DIEGO, CA, April 20, 2009
Tandem Diabetes Care, Inc., a privately held company, today announced plans to move and expand its corporate headquarters in San Diego. The Company has signed a lease agreement and is currently building out a 20,000 square foot property located on Roselle Street, in the Sorrento Valley area of San Diego.
"The design of our new headquarters brings together the engineering and marketing groups – a philosophy that is also reflected in the design and development of our first infusion pump," said Kim Blickenstaff, Tandem president and chief executive officer. "Moving into our new headquarters is a significant step for our Company in aligning with our long-term goals."
Tandem's operations are currently housed in a facility in Laguna Hills, Calif. and in a temporary space in the University Towne Center area of San Diego. The Company anticipates taking occupancy of its new headquarters in July 2008. Terms of the lease were not disclosed.
