(NASDAQ: TNDM), a medical device company and manufacturer of the t:slim® and t:flex™ Insulin Pumps, today announced that the t:slim Insulin Pump was again ranked first in overall satisfaction when compared to other commonly used insulin pumps in the United States.[1] The study was conducted by independent market research company dQ&A and included data from a patient panel of 1,170 pump users. This is the second year in a row that the t:slim Pump has ranked first for overall satisfaction by dQ&A's Patient Panel.

In the same survey, the t:slim Pump scored #1 rankings for satisfaction in 14 out of 18 categories, including size, reading the display, ease of training, safety features, alarms and alerts and consumer software. Tandem also ranked first in customer support.

dQ&A (www.d-qa.com) is a San Francisco-based market research company focused on people with diabetes and the products and therapies they use. In their December 2014 survey, 1,170 pump users reported their level of satisfaction with their insulin pump, both overall, and across 18 categories. Satisfaction scores were ranked based on statistical significance at a 95% confidence level. All pumps available to people with diabetes in the USA at the time of the survey were included.
